OIC / Brunei 2022 – Open

 The Government of Guyana in collaboration with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in collaboration with the Government of Brunei is offering a limited number of scholarships in Brunei Darussalam at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels for the 2022/2023 academic year.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for consideration in the following fields of study: –

Undergraduate:

Ø  Biomedical Science (BSc.)

  

Ø  Cyber Security & Forensics (BSc.)

 

Key Requirements:

 

ü  Applicants must be 25 years or under at the time of application and a holder of a valid Guyanese Passport

 

ü  A minimum of five (5) subjects at the Caribbean Secondary Examination Council (CSEC) level inclusive of English Language and Mathematics and two (2) science (Biology, Chemistry or Physics) subjects with Grades I or II.

 

AND

 

ü  A minimum of two (2) subjects at the Caribbean Advance Proficiency Examination (CAPE) level which should include Biology, Chemistry or Physics with Grades I or II.

 

Postgraduate:

Ø  Petroleum Geosciences (MSc.)

 

Ø  Chemical Engineering (MSc.)

 

Ø  Mechanical Engineering (MSc.)

 

Ø  Water Resources & Environmental Engineering (MSc.)

 

Ø  Biomedical Sciences (MSc.)

Key Requirements:

 

ü  Applicants must be 35 years or under at the time of application and a holder of a valid Guyanese Passport.

 

ü  Applicants must have a relevant Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5.

 

Closing date for submission of application is January 31, 2022.

Joint Japan /World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program – Closed

The Government of Guyana in collaboration with the Joint Japan /World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) is offering a limited number of scholarships at the Master’s Degree level for the 2022/2023 academic year. 

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for consideration in the following fields of study: 

  • Economic and Public Policy

Key Eligibility Requirements for Applicants

  • Applicants must be 35 years or under at the time of application.
  • Applicants must be holders of a valid passport .
  • Applicants must have obtained a relevant Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 at least three (3) years prior to the date of the application deadline.
  • Applicants must be employed in development-related work and have at least three (3) years or more experience in a paid full-time position after earning a Bachelor’s Degree at the time of submitting the scholarship application.

Closing date for submission of application is January 18, 2022.

 

Chinese Scholarship Council Scholarship 2021 – Closed

The Government of Guyana in collaboration with the Government of the People’s Republic of China – China Scholarship Council is offering a limited number of scholarships in China at the Master’s Degree level for the 2022/2023 academic year.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for consideration in the following fields of study: 

  • Chemical Engineering and Technology (MEng.) 
  • Civil and Hydraulic Engineering (MEng.) 
  • Mechanical Engineering (MEng.) 
  • Neurology (MSc.)
  • Pathology and Pathophysiology (MSc.) 
 

 Closing date for submission of application is December 17, 2021.

Carnegie School of Home Economics Scholarships – Closed

The Government of Guyana is offering a limited number of Scholarships for persons to pursue studies at the Carnegie School of Home Economics for the 2021/2022 Academic Year

 Key Eligibility requirement for Applicants:

  • Applicants must gain admission to the Carnegie School of Home Economics

Robert Gordon University Scholarships – Closed

The Government of Guyana is offering a limited number of scholarships at the Master’s Degree level online at the Robert Gordon University in the United Kingdom commencing from the 2021/2022 academic year.

Master of Business Administration in Sustainability and Energy Transitions

  • Applicants must have a VALID Guyanese passport.
  • Applicants must be below the age of thirty-five (35) years. 
  • Applicants must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject discipline with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.7 and have at least three (3) years of full-time professional work experience.
