Centre for Excellence in Information Technology (CEIT) is a centre of academic engagement and excellence, and aims to be Government of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana’s leading provider of research informed ICT education and projects for the public sector. It represents a coordinated effort between Government of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana and the Government of India as per the Memorandum of Understanding for the establishment of the CEIT signed in 2016.
Vision
To be the principal ICT training institution providing tailored high-quality specialised ICT training to the public sector.
Mission
To ensure trained public sector personnel are available to effectively manage, secure, and maintain Government of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana’s ICT infrastructure to enable delivery of high-quality public services.
