Cuba Non Medical Undergraduate 2025 Scholarship – Closed
The Government of Guyana in collaboration the Government of Cuba is offering a limited number of scholarships in Cuba at the Postgraduate level for the 2025/2026 academic year.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for consideration in the following fields of study:-
- Hydraulic Engineering (BEng.)
- Agronomy (BSc.)
- Veterinary Medicine (BSc.)
Key Eligibility Requirements for Applicants:
- Applicants must be 25 years or younger and a holder of a valid Guyana Passport
- A minimum of five (5) subjects at the Caribbean Secondary Examination Council (CSEC) level inclusive of English Language, Mathematics, and any two (2) Science subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Human & Social Biology) with Grades I or II.

Key Eligibility Requirements for Applicants:
Be a graduate from the Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM) in Cuba and must be fluent in Spanish with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0.

- Health Technologies: Clinical Analysis & Transfusion Medicine (BSc.)

The Government of Guyana in collaboration with the Government of China is offering a limited number of scholarships to pursue studies at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels for the 2025/2026 academic year in China.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for consideration in the following fields of study:-
Undergraduate:
- Clinical Medicine (MD)
- Electrical Engineering (BEng.)
Key Eligibility Requirements for Applicants:
- Applicants must be 25 years or under at the time of application and a holder of a valid Guyanese Passport

For Clinical Medicine – Applicants must have a minimum of two (2) subjects at the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE) level (Years 1 & 2) inclusive of Chemistry, Physics or Biology with Grades I or II, an Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field with a GPA of 3.0
