Mission Statement
To foster a professional public service instilled with and committed to the culture of excellence by driving change and innovation; facilitating continuous professional development; implementing administrative reforms; creating the conditions for conducive work environments and promoting and maintaining ethics and accountability in the functioning of government agencies delivering services to the public.
Training Division
The Training Division is mandated to plan, coordinate, and manage the training of public servants in order to build a culture of competence and create an impetus for excellence, and update the knowledge and skills of officers to meet the requirements of the changing environment in service delivery.
Minister of Public Service, Government Efficiency, and Implementation
Hon. Minister Zulfikar Ally, Minister of Public Service, Government Efficiency, and Implementation, plans to enhance project delivery and ensuring they abide by international best standards and practices. His approach includes establishing clear performance indicators, improving coordination across government, modernising the public service through rigorous digitalisation, and institutionalise monitoring and evaluation across all areas of Government. With a focus on timely, costeffective execution, the Minister aims to build a responsive, efficient public sector supported by consultation with stakeholders and strong oversight mechanisms.

Yesterday Monday 28th June, 2021 the Ministry of Public Service, Personnel department and the Permanent Secretary commenced their sensitization outreaches with the various Ministries, Regions and Agencies, in an effort to improve on public services offered to citizens.
