Mr. Zulfikar Ally is an attorney-at-law and currently serves as the Minister of Public Service, Government Efficiency, and Implementation in Guyana. He served as Ambassador for Guyana to the United States of Mexico and has previously served as the Minister Counselor/Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Guyana in Washington, D.C. Mr. Ally is a founding member and first past President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Guyana. He has been a member of the executive committee of the Private Sector Commission of Guyana and a former executive director on the Board of Directors at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). He has also served as the Corporate Secretary of Queens Atlantic Investment Inc., and as Head of the Multilateral and Financial Institutions Fund at the Ministry of Finance in Guyana. He holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Legal Education Certificate, a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, a Master’s in Diplomacy and International Relations, and a Master’s in Human Resource Planning and Development.
